In accordance with transparency and public notification requirements, the County of Marin is providing advance public access to proposed updates to fees charged by the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Department. The Department contracted with NBS to do a full fee study to ensure that not only are the fees and charges reasonable and equitable, but that they also meet industry standards and uphold the statutory requirements of the State of California.
These proposed updates are scheduled to be presented by ordinance to the Marin County Board of Supervisors for consideration on Tuesday, December 8, 2026.
